About the Role

Typically reports to a Manager but may report to a senior professional individual contributor when business needs dictate.



Your Impact

Responsible for order fulfillment and daily transportation functions as it relates to machine deliveries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with skill set to manage multiple projects / demands.
Participate in delivery schedule rollout project planning, that may include facilitating machine white glove transportation delivery and/or pickup planning, scheduling and execution with internal (including Warehouses, Sales, Service and other groups) and external (End Customer and carrier) stakeholders. Ensure effective and optimized solutions to white glove delivery needs.
Involved in cross functional group reviews when related to Transportation activity, collaborating with other Canon members towards our success in Canons white glove transportation needs. Develop a proactive relationship with the assigned customer accounts with resolution of issues and concerns in a timely manner and provide innovative solutions
Understands the end-to-end process across groups related to operations, as well as machine handling requirements. Identifies and recommends to Management Logistics improvement opportunities. Coordinates across inter-divisional staff & third-party logistics staff to achieve successful implementation of new processes and programs. Documents and distributes process and procedure activities. Establishes and maintains effective communication procedures and practices, internally and externally, ensuring that Logistics meets, or exceeds, our customers’ expectations. Acts urgently to address and resolve any Transportation exceptions, including root cause identification and reviews with Management for improvement opportunities.



About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- Experience in a computerized environment as well as working with a database management system.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize.
- Good communication skills and excellent customer service skills. Should be committed to providing quality results to all internal and external customers, and have good time management skills.
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite with Excel skills

In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated rate for this role: $23.47 - $35.14 hourly
